The Four Cousins’ Favorite Lemon Bar Recipe

2 cups of flour
½ cup of powdered sugar
1 cup of butter
4 beaten eggs
2 cups of white sugar
1/3 cup of lemon juice
1/4 cup of flour
1/2 Tsp. of baking powder
1/2 Tsp. of lemon or orange rind (opt.)
Mix Base
Press into a 13X9 inch pan
Bake at 350 Degrees for 20 minutes
Cool Crust
Beat Filling – eggs, sugar, lemon juice
Sift flour and baking powder
Stir into egg mixture
Pour over baked, cooled crust
Bake at 350 Degrees for 25 minutes.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar!   Yum!! Enjoy!!
